NCC Urban Participated in South India Real Estate Conference 2013

 FICCI - event NCC Urban Infrastructure Ltd., Director, Mr. JSR Raju, first person from the right side of the image, at the 2nd South India Real Estate Conference (SIREC) 2013 was organized by FICCI on 19th September 2013 at Hotel ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru.

Mr. JSR Raju, Moderator at SIREC 2013, addressed the gathering on recent initiatives such as Land acquisition, R&R bills and changes to SEZ are important efforts by the Government and it is an opportune time to discuss these issues in the upcoming FICCI conference. In the current scenario, work force management and effective production methodologies are key pillars to execution that help in on-time delivery of projects.”

Also he had a brief speech and addressed the panelists on the “Execution Strategies and Challenges” for the topic of Emerging technologies for better customer experience, Effective project management and Effective workforce management, during the session – III at the South India Real Estate Conference.

Dubai flooring firm Avant ties up with NCC for India entry NCC Urban, a subsidiary of diversified construction group NCC Ltd, has tied up with Dubai-based flooring and roofing firm Avant to launch its products in India.
Avant, which has a presence in 16 countries, will be bringing in products from its manufacturing facility in China and seek to carve out a new segment in the domestic flooring and roofing market.

NCC Urban to take up more projects in South

NCC Urban Infrastructure Ltd has sewn up plans to take up 10 residential and commercial projects in South India, entailing a built-up area of 2.5 million sq.ft.

The company launched six projects, both apartments and villas, in Bangalore, which are expected to generate a turnover of Rs 250 crore per year. Ventures in Hyderabad, Kochi and Chennai are set for launch in the next two to three months," said Mr Narayana Raju Alluri, Managing Director of NCC Urban, a subsidiary of Hyderabad-based construction major NCC Ltd.

The company garnered revenues of Rs 175 crore last year and was expecting to close this fiscal with Rs 200 crore, he said.

During an interaction at the CII conference on urban infrastructure, he said the company received Rs 150 crore as equity and the remaining as loan from the parent, NCC Limited, to fund acquisition of land for these projects. The company is in the process of launching a 100-acre, mixed-use integrated township in Visakhapatnam, besides an apartment project in Guntur.
